With over 10 years of fitness experience, I have acquired the knowledge and skills required to put myself at the forefront of the professional fitness industry. After becoming a certified personal trainer through NASM in 2006, I quickly established myself as one of the top trainers at the acclaimed California central coast health club, Kennedy Club Fitness. Launching a fitness boxing program later that year, my classes soon became a popular and entertaining way to get an amazing work out. One thing was missing however. I felt I lacked the experience to take my advanced students to the next level. With plenty of boxing training, but no fight experience under my belt, I decided to put the business on hold and pursue my own fighting career.
Today I am a 2008 California Golden Glove champion, carrying a 1-0 professional fight record after a unanimous decision win in my pro boxing debut on Aug. 20 2009. Now I am back with the knowledge and ability to take my students as far as they wish to go. My goal is to motivate and educate individuals with passion to learn and achieve professional athletic ability.
Its all about intensity and discipline. There are no quick fixes, miracle creams, wonder diets, or magic pills. Goals are achieved through hard work and dedication.
I am by no means a drill instructor, I will not scream at you or demean your character, but I never give less than 100% in my own training and expect no less from my students. Pushing physical and mental boundaries, while staying controlled and safe, is the only way to achieve one's true potential.
We must start from the ground up, assessing weaknesses. Then, corrective measures have to be taken in nutrition, flexibility, lifestyle, and mental resolve as well as exercise technique in order to become an elite performance machine. My approach is more mental than physical, at least 80% of boxing is psychological. My goal is to help others break their walls down and discover their true potential. The raw, primal animal that's fueled by adrenaline is in all of us. It's time to open the cage and let it out. My program has been developed through trial and error, blood, sweat, and broken bones. What I have created is a dynamic, integrated, unconventional program, designed to advance one safely to a level that none of my opponents can compete with. For those who join my program and learn these skills, their lives will never be the same.

Jessica is an AFAA certified group fitness instructor and has been teaching classes for over 8 years. Fitness is a lifestyle for Jessica, whether it's hitting the gym, the trails, the water, or the sand. Teresa is a NASM and AFAA certified personal trainer, who has been training since 2012. Her love for fitness began at an early age, and included dance, hockey, and cheerleading. Once she got to college at the University of Arizona, she began to explore the gym, as she wanted to avoid the dreaded "Freshman 15." In that first year, she lost 20 lbs. This was the true start of her fitness-filled lifestyle. After graduating with a Bachelor's of Science, Teresa moved to San Diego, where she hired her first personal trainer.
During this time, she developed a love of bodybuilding, and a new appreciation for working out. She trained along side of some of the best female bodybuilders in the country, and learned so much about how to do things safely, and effectively. This experience inspired her to become a personal trainer herself, and that's exactly what she did! . Since 2014, she has worked with many clients as a trainer, coach, and mentor, leading them to success.
Teresa can be found at Xplicit Fitness teaching boxing fusion classes, and training clients one-on-one. Her favorite Xplicit workout is the GRID (you might even see her jump into a class on the weekends!)
